Fleet management xtended access

As soon as drivers enter the vehicle's communication zone, their key fob or smart device connects with the vehicle. As the driver moves closer to the vehicle and into the unlocking zone, the system automatically unlocks the vehicle using secure UWB and BLE. In case the key fob or smart device battery is empty, NFC can be used as back-up technology.

The system autonomously detects the driver exiting the vehicle. If the driver moves away from the vehicle and out of the locking zone, the system locks the vehicle automatically.

The vehicle access system works for entire fleets. Using the web user interface, fleet operators can grant and withdraw access to vehicles for a specific period. This allows them to distribute vehicle keys digitally to the driver’s smart devices. The key management system can also be integrated directly into the existing fleet management software of fleet operators.

With the passive start function, the integrated system provides additional convenience. Authorization to start the engine is given by the key or smart device. UWB ensures that the key fob or smart device is reliably detected when located in the vehicle cabin.
